Student Projects
Microcosmos is designed to host projects created by students to explore past scientific practices, places, ideas, and instruments. Here are some of the projects that are currently available:
Glass Works Recreates the problems facing Isaac Newton as he sought to use prisms to convince his correspondents of the truth of his radical new theory of colors.
Halley’s Comet Recreates the mathematical tactics employed by Newton’s ally Edmond Halley in predicting for the first time the future return of a comet.
